International Students Volunteer at the Chicago Food Depository
In just their second week on campus, new international students at Roosevelt University had already volunteered hours of their time packing 12,600 pounds of canned goods for the hungry at Chicago Food Depository. In carrying out its mission of shaping the students to become socially conscious community leaders, Roosevelt University offers many community service opportunities to let students apply classroom knowledge to solve real world problems.
These opportunities are especially valuable to international students as they are being integrated into the university and the local community.
